Before incorporating the anti-limescale solution by Vulcan we had to continuously use anti-scale solutions to deal with the buildup of mineral scale on our osmosis membranes and we would only get 6 month lifespan from these membrane before that had to be replaced. Since incorporating the Vulcan descaler our osmosis membranes have lasted more than 11 months.
After a year of using the Vulcan mineral anti scale solution I am still very satisfied with the performance. I replaced my home’s old oil heating system with a new water-air heat pump system and I use the anti-scale system to prevent limescale buildup. After a year I still have no issues with limescale.
A 1,000 room resort located on the beachfront in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Due to the shower head scaling problem in Changping student dormitory in Beijing University of Chemical Technology, the water was getting reduced after a month, and the shower head was blocked completely after 2-3 months. We installed 2 Vulcan to test. After 2 months, no scale was found on the shower heads, only saw a thin layer of white membrane, and it was easy to remove.
Based on our savings alone, the Vulcan descaler has already paid for itself. An additional benefit has been in the greatly reduced amount of cooling tower maintenance. The calcium buildup has been miniscule and the little bit that has accumulated can be easily washed away with a garden hose and nozzle.
The Leisure Bathing Center turned their water softener off on the day of Vulcan was installed. 45 Days after installing the electronic descaler the old scale in the hot water pipe became softer and easy to clean.
After 6 months of using the Vulcan electronic descaler the Sinopec Shengli Oilfield does not have to use chemical to manage scale build up in water heating tubes. The company saved costs in energy, labor, maintenance, and no longer deals with their heating system being compromised by heating efficiencies.
